Summer bade farewell. The rain gods are overjoyed and the downpour just keeps coming. I didn't even get the chance to wade on salt water nor walk over fine sand. Heck, I didn't even come near any shoreline. Pathetic! Count pools as consolation, you say - hell no. Moving on.
I still look forward to the rainy days though. An excuse to at least dress-up in layers. This is the closest we can get to cooler times. I just hope that when I'm outside and is not under any roof, the downpour would stop and just resume when I'm once again under shelter. This is asking too much.

The rainy days are melancholic. For some reason, sort of depressing too. I especially do not like it when it is raining at 5:00 PM when what's left of the afternoon sky seems to be hesitating to transition into evening. There is just this weird feeling at this time. It seems very dismal and gloomy - like all happiness is being sucked away from you.
