I'm doing my first outfit shot for Rex Clothing today! I am wearing a piece from their Summer Collection 2012. When I got the shirt, the first look that came into my mind was something military, thus the look. I didn't want to go overboard by doing layers since the three gold star prints are enough statement already. I balanced the look by wearing an army green ODM watch and two black leather H&M wrap bracelets. The Oakley Juliet I am wearing is a totally different story. Original plan was to wear a thick framed black eye glasses but due to an unfortunate circumstance, I developed a stye on my left eye overnight so I had to cover it with sunglasses instead. Well, I think the Oakley Juliet complemented and established the "military" vibe of the look. What do you guys think?

I'll formally blog and introduce Rex Clothing on my next blog post! So just you know, Rex Clothing is a socially aware and responsible brand. A portion of each sale made goes to charity! That what sets Rex Clothing apart from other brands! :)

it takes attitude to truly sport a military look. in any case, it's an insult for our guys in the frontlines to look like them but twangy on our knees.
ReplyDeletethumbs up for the footwear. i actually don't know what to call it. its mere presence is authority.
Hi Perrine,
DeleteThank you! Sporting a tough facade when deep down lies weakness is indeed insulting to those who are truly courageous. I must say and admit though, I am yet to know if I truly do deserve sporting this look.
The boots are called "Night Hunt" by Kenneth Cole.
