Hezron + Sunshine

I met with the other two winners of my Yabu Katsucraze blog giveaway yesterday. I met them in Starbucks, Mega Mall. First to arrive was Hezron. Oh man, he was literally shaking when he got there. I was like asking him if he was nervous but he just kept on giving me a shy smile. I felt like it was awkward for him so I had to do my thing. So I kept blabbing and blabbing and making funny remarks until eventually he eased out. We talked about blogging, school, work, plans after college, and the likes. He mentioned that he hasn't blogged in a while now because there was nobody to take his outfit photos. I knew exactly how that feels so I promised him that I'll take outfit shots of him and send them to him via email so he'll have a new post. After a while, Sunshine arrived. Sunshine, on the other hand, was bubbly already to start with so there was no awkward moment with her. Lol. So, the three of us conversed about their favorite bloggers, inspirations to blog, etc. Sunshine made  a remark that she found me sort of "matapang" in pictures because of my eyes. I told her that it's because I don't smile in pictures. The reason being my cheeks are chubby so when I smile in photos my face registers so big. Hahahaha. Hezron said he didn't get that impression since from the very beginning (even before he won the giveaway), we've been constantly in contact in Lookbook, Twitter, and my blog.

This is why I prefer personally meeting my winners instead of just shipping out their prizes. I find it more personal and intimate meeting and speaking with them rather than just coordinating addresses via email or sms. It's always fun to spend time with people who spend time as well to read my blog posts. They definitely deserved my time. 

After a while, we all had to bid goodbye to one another. Sunshine went first since I'll still be taking outfit shots of Hezron. So Hezron and I headed to the streets for his outfit shots. After taking his photos, he handed me this:

So thoughtful of Hezron. This has been in his bag the whole time. Being the cake monster that I am, of course I was thrilled. Thanks Hezron. Very much appreciated. Now, another thing that made my day was this from Sunshine:

So there! I am still to meet with the other winners of the giveaway (Almira and Wonder Woman herself, Angeline. Lol!). The other winner was an officemate who joined so there's no thrill there (kidding, Silay!).
