Korean Hairstyle

When it comes to hairstyles, I really do not mind trying everything - I have tried A LOT! I've gone blonde, long hair, short hair, skin head, red, yellow, blue, corn rows, tousled, curls, etc. For the first time, I am trying out something new - a Korean hairstyle for men. I've been silently following the Hallyu Wave that's hitting the world big time - fashion, music, skin care, and now - Korean hairstyle! I actually don't know if a Korean hairstyle suits me but basing from peoples' feedbacks, I guess it does! It's just a matter of owning the look I guess.

I was invited by L'Oreal Professionel and Bangs Tony and Jackey to try out the L'Oreal Korean City Style. See my post about the L'Oreal Korean City Style HERE. I didn't know what to expect honestly but I had full confidence in the outcome since my Korean hairstyle will be done at Bangs Tony and Jackey. Of course, who else could do a Korean hairstyle for men perfectly but a Korean salon, right? Also, since L'Oreal products were to be used, I was pretty sure that the outcome of my Korean hairstyle would be awesome!

Let me share with you guys how my Korean hairstyle came to be:

Before photo. It sucks, I know. Why do you think do I keep wearing snapbacks lately? LOL

Initial haircut. I got really excited after this. The Korean haircut done looks amazing already!

Next up - hair color! My hair was colored some shade of brown.

Waiting for the color to seep in!

After coloring, hair on the sides and back were rebonded using L'Oreal X-tenso Moisturist. Mika, the stylist,  said this would make my Korean hairstyle better.

The crown was permed using L'Oreal Dulcia Advanced.

Here's how it looked like after the L'Oreal X-tenso Moisturist rebonding and the L'Oreal Dulcia Advanced perm

Now, here's the outcome of my L'Oreal Korean City Style hairstyle:

What do you guys think? Personally, I think I will be maintaining this look for a while. I really like how my new Korean hairstyle turned out.
