concierge and feathers

I was supposed to have my satchel hot-stamped today but it didn't happen.

Chocolate Schu Bar and Madison-Rockwell are the only two stores that sells CSC bags here in Manila (to what I know). Unfortunately, Schu doesn't do stamping anymore and Madison only stamps upon pre-order of bags. People from Schu told me that Rustan's offer hot-stamping services. On Monday, I went to Rustan's Gateway to inquire. The concierge there said that they do not offer hot-stamping services anymore in their branch. He glady called Rustan's Shangrila and inquired if their branch still offer such service. The concierge from Rustan's Shangrila confirmed that they do and even gave pricing for the service. The concierge there also gave color options (silver/gold) for the hot-stamping. I had the Gateway concierge tell the Shang concierge that I will be coming to Rustan's Shang Tuesday morning to acquire for such service.

This morning, I went to Shangrila. I went there a tad too early so I had to wait before the mall opens. I went to a coffee shop instead and waited an hour and a half (yes, I was that early). When Shang finally opened, I went straight to Rustan's and went to the concierge. I told them that I was the one who inquired about the stamping services on Monday. The girl from concierge glady led me to their "services" section. The guy there asked me what I needed and told him that I wanted to have my bag hot-stamped. To my dismay, the guy said that they don't offer that service anymore and it's been for quite sometime already. They only do metal engravings now. He also said Rustan's Makati is not doing hot stamping for the meantime because their hot stamping apparatus is broken. I was furious inside. I was thinking if I was going to throw a fit but decided to just let it go. Throwing a fit wouldn't make much of a difference anyway. I let go.
