lost building

Today I went to FIP to inquire.

This is it!

Funny thing is, I went to the wrong building initially. All this time, I thought that Fashion Institute of the Philippines is located at San Miguel Building (building behind Mega Mall B). I went straight to the elevator when I got there and pressed on the 8th Floor. When I alighted, lo and behold - there was no FIP. I looked up FIP again on my mobile browser and got confused because I thought I was in the right building. I went to the reception at the lobby and asked. Lady said that FIP is in One San Miguel building in San Miguel Avenue corner Shaw. She said that a lot have actually mistaken their building for it. Darn.

I went to One San Miguel building and finally found FIP. The instructor for Fashion Merchandising is Tipu Maqbool. I tried looking him up in the net but came up with few results. I tweeted Pax (Drowning Equilibriums) asking about him and Pax said that she doesn't know him personally but she's heard good things about him. I'm fine with that.

Classes will be once a week for two months. Fashion Merchandising falls every Monday from 9 AM to 6 PM starting July 4th. I've talked to my boss this morning about my plan of going back to school and tomorrow I will know  his decision. Hopefully, they let me file for a once-a-week leave for 2 months. I'll enroll as soon as they let me. Wish me luck.
