I've been thinking about going back to school for quite sometime now. Today, I've finally made up my mind. I will be enrolling in fashion school to take Fashion Merchandising. I've always been fascinated by clothes, by fashion. It is just right for me to pursue this. I think by taking this short course, it would make things sort of official. At least I'd have the credentials to back me up after this.

Thinking about it is actually making me feel really excited - visual merchandising techniques, rules of store display, color arrangement, fixture, layout, and wall and window display. Just thinking about these things is getting me hyped.

Fashion Merchandising actually focuses on the business side of fashion. Brand analysis, planning and controlling of brand and business start up, competition analysis, and trend forcasting are just some key points of Fashion Merchandising. These things may not be interesting to some people but not me. Right now, I feel like an eager beaver wanting to learn about these things.

Hopefully, all goes well for me. Maybe this is what I've been missing all along. Eventually, this is where I truly belong.
